CineMaze ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the CineMaze mobile application (the "App").

The short version: we do not collect any personal data. CineMaze has no user accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no server-side data storage. Everything stays on your device.

Information We Do NOT Collect

CineMaze does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Names, email addresses, or account credentials (no accounts exist)
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
• Crash reports or performance telemetry

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

CineMaze stores the following data exclusively on your device using local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us:

• Daily Challenge Progress: Whether you have completed today's challenge, your score, and time taken
• Completed Connections: A history of your most recent completed games (up to 50), including the movies, your move count, time, and star rating
• Game Statistics: Cumulative stats such as total games played, total moves, and average score
• Watchlist: Movies you save to watch later (movie ID, title, and poster reference)
• Favorite Actors: Actors you mark as favorites (actor ID, name, and photo reference)

Network Requests

CineMaze requires an internet connection to function. The app makes network requests to the following third-party services to retrieve movie and actor information:

• The Movie Database (TMDB): Movie details, cast lists, actor information, and poster images
• Open Movie Database (OMDB): IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes ratings
• Wikidata: Academy Award (Oscar) win and nomination details

These requests contain only movie or actor identifiers (e.g., a movie's TMDB ID). No personal information, device identifiers, or user data is included in any network request.

Third-Party Services

The third-party APIs we use have their own privacy policies:

We do not control how these services handle data on their end. We encourage you to review their policies.

Children's Privacy

CineMaze does not collect personal information from any user, regardless of age. The app contains no user-generated content, social features, or in-app purchases. It is suitable for all ages.

Your Rights and Choices

• View Your Data: Access your game statistics, watchlist, and favorites within the app at any time
• Delete Individual Items: Remove movies from your watchlist, actors from your favorites, or completed games from your history directly in the app
• Delete All Data: Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data

Since we do not collect or store any data on our end, there is no data for us to provide, correct, or delete on your behalf.

Data Protection Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

CineMaze does not collect personal data, so GDPR and CCPA data subject requests do not apply. However, if you have questions or concerns, you are welcome to contact us.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's data practices change. Any updates will be reflected by a new "Last Updated" date on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
